Foresight invests in equity management software platform Vestd

Foresight Group has announced a growth investment into Vestd, a UK-based company providing a software platform for managing employee share schemes and equity ownership. The investment signifies a move to support Vestd's expansion in the growing market for equity management solutions.

Founded in 2014, Vestd offers a proprietary SaaS platform designed to digitize and automate equity management processes, replacing manual methods with an integrated and compliant system. The platform currently serves thousands of businesses, primarily in the UK and India, handling workflows such as cap table management, fundraising documentation, and shareholder reporting.

This funding round, Vestd's first institutional investment after a decade of growth, is intended to support the company's next phase. Plans include expanding its enterprise offering, scaling its international presence, and developing new product functionalities. Foresight Group will collaborate with Vestd's management to further strengthen the leadership team and accelerate commercial expansion.

Vestd CEO Ifty Nasir stated that the investment will help the company achieve its goal of making equity inclusion accessible to all private companies. Salim Chantler of Foresight Group highlighted Vestd's operation in an attractive, underpenetrated market with a product that addresses a common pain point for management teams regarding manual equity issuance.
