Fork It Fund Raises Over $1.2 Million for Alzheimer's Prevention Research
The Fork It Fund hosted a music and philanthropy event at Sony Hall in New York City, raising over $1.2 million for research focused on preventing Alzheimer's disease.

New York – The Fork It Fund initiative raised over $1.2 million for research focused on the prevention of Alzheimer's disease and other dementias at its Act VI event held on October 8 at Sony Hall in New York City.
The evening brought together supporters, caregivers, and friends, while also recognizing families affected by the disease. Since its founding in 2019, the Fork It Fund has raised more than $5 million for research in partnership with the Alzheimer's Association.
For Stacy Polley, founder of the Fork It Fund and former Goldman Sachs Partner, Act VI held personal significance. Her father, a musician who lived with Alzheimer's, inspired Polley to establish the fund. This year's performance served as a tribute to his memory.
"My hope is that the joy we created together will help fund the science that changes the story for future generations," Polley stated. The Fork It Fund aims to advance early detection and prevention by supporting research into risk factors and methods for reducing Alzheimer's risk.
