Former Elite Gymnast Kim Bui to Speak on Security at LVM

Former German elite gymnast Kim Bui is set to speak at LVM Versicherung's "Unternehmenswerte erleben" (Experiencing Corporate Values) event in Münster on July 4. Her presentation will focus on the theme of security, one of the insurance company's core values.

Bui, a decorated athlete with two European Championship bronze medals and three Olympic appearances, will share insights from her nearly 30-year career in high-performance sports. She will discuss the security and insecurity inherent in elite athletic programs, particularly for children and adolescents, and touch upon questionable training methods.

The gymnast, known for her activism against the sexualization of gymnastics and for promoting female empowerment, will also offer personal reflections on her struggle with an eating disorder and her recovery.

LVM Versicherung is opening the event to the public, offering 30 pairs of tickets via email application. The lecture series aims to highlight the company's values of security, trust, and responsibility through external speakers.
