Yvonne Bajela, formerly a partner at the venture firm Phoenix Court—widely known as LocalGlobe—has officially launched her new venture capital firm, Evertrue Capital. The firm has successfully closed its debut fund, raising $17 million to invest in early-stage technology companies.
Bajela, who previously managed high-profile investments in fintech unicorns including Wise and Marshmallow, has attracted backing from a range of industry participants, including figures linked to Dawn Capital and the British Business Bank. The capital will be deployed toward early-stage ventures that demonstrate scalability and technical depth.
In a statement, Bajela indicated that the firm’s strategy is designed to identify startups capable of addressing complex operational challenges. The move adds to the current landscape of specialized European venture firms seeking to capitalize on regional talent during a period of market maturation.
