Former Spine Surgeon Launches App for Well-being Skills
London-based technology firm HappierMe has relaunched its app, incorporating an AI guide to help users understand their minds and develop life skills for improved well-being.

HappierMe, a technology firm based in London, has launched a significant update to its well-being and life-skills app. The platform aims to help individuals gain a deeper understanding of their feelings and thought patterns, providing tools to navigate life's challenges and cultivate lasting happiness.
The app was founded by Dr. Manoj Krishna, a former spine surgeon who transitioned from medicine to focus on preventative mental health. HappierMe operates on the principle that happiness is a learnable skill. It offers methods to enhance self-awareness and emotional intelligence, enabling users to manage their well-being, cope with adversity, and foster stronger relationships.
The redesigned application features Olly, an AI-assisted personal guide. Olly prompts users for reflection and directs them to curated content within HappierMe's library, distinguishing itself from generic online searches by offering personalized guidance. The 'Guided Journeys' feature provides daily micro-learning and practical exercises designed to translate insight into sustained change.
The app offers distinct programs for adults, teenagers, and parents. It is available on both iOS and Android platforms and is also offered to workplaces, universities, and healthcare organizations. HappierMe has received ORCHA certification, affirming its clinical safety, data privacy, and usability.
