Formula Boats Introduces 360 Super Sport Crossover with Large Outboard Engines

Formula Boats has introduced its 360 Super Sport Crossover, a new model built with powerful outboard engines replacing traditional inboard propulsion systems. The vessel's design is centered on accommodating these larger outboard units, aiming to deliver enhanced performance and increased interior living space.

The trend towards larger outboard motors, such as Mercury Marine's 600-horsepower V12, is becoming more prominent in the luxury boat market. These engines provide cruiser-level performance while simplifying installation and freeing up space previously occupied by engine rooms. This design shift allows builders like Formula Boats more flexibility in configuring interiors with additional amenities and living quarters.

The Formula 360 Super Sport Crossover measures 36 feet in length with an 11-foot beam. The boat features a combination of an open bow for socializing and a full-width coupe top, offering weather protection alongside deck space. Buyers can opt for twin 600 hp V12 Verado outboards or a triple-engine setup with V8 or V10 Verado motors.

The interior includes a private double berth, a full galley, and an enclosed head with standing room. An outdoor galley area and seating are also provided for guest entertainment. Formula offers four models in its Super Sport Crossover series, all based on the open bow and full cabin design.

Formula Boats, headquartered in Decatur, Indiana, manufactures performance sport boats, bowriders, and crossover models. The company distributes its boats through a network of authorized dealers across the United States.
