Chinese automaker Forthing unveiled its new TK model series at the Paris Motor Show in October 2026, featuring both all-electric (BEV) and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) variants. The company showcased the TK5 BEV, TK5 PHEV, TK7 PHEV, and the V9 PHEV Camper Van. This launch is part of Forthing's global expansion strategy and its focus on new energy solutions for family mobility.
Sylar Li, International Product Director at Forthing, stated that the new TK series is designed to meet the diverse mobility needs of global families through technological innovation. The series vehicles are built on the company's EMA 3.0 global intelligent architecture, supporting both 800V battery-electric (BEV) and plug-in hybrid technologies. This platform enables faster charging and reduced energy consumption.
The TK5 model is presented as a versatile urban SUV, blending design, driving dynamics, technology, and range. The TK5 BEV can charge from 20% to 80% in 18 minutes using 800V high-voltage fast charging, offering an electric range of 210 km. The PHEV version boasts a combined range of up to 1100 km.
The TK7 PHEV is a spacious, 5-to-8-seater plug-in hybrid SUV, ideal for larger families and travel. It includes Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability for powering external devices. Both the electric and combined range of the TK7 PHEV are substantial, making it suitable for urban commutes and long-distance journeys.
Forthing's presence at the Paris Motor Show and the introduction of these new models mark a significant step in the company's global growth and the evolution of China's automotive industry towards exporting brand value and mobility philosophies, not just hardware.
