Fortum Shareholders' Nomination Board for 2026–2027 Appointed
Fortum Oyj has appointed members to its Shareholders' Nomination Board for the 2026–2027 term. The board prepares proposals for the Annual General Meeting.

Fortum Oyj has announced the members of its Shareholders' Nomination Board for the upcoming 2026–2027 term. The Nomination Board's primary role is to prepare and present proposals to the Annual General Meeting regarding the composition and remuneration of the Board of Directors.
The appointed members for the 2026–2027 term are: Maija Strandberg, Director General of the Prime Minister's Office's Ownership Steering Department, will serve as Chair. Mikko Mursula, CEO of Ilmarinen Mutual Pension Insurance Company, and Risto Murto, President and CEO of Varma Mutual Pension Insurance Company, are the other two members.
As per the charter of Fortum's Nomination Board, three members are appointed annually. Each of the company's three largest shareholders, as of the first working day of June, is entitled to appoint one member. This ensures representation from the largest stakes in the company.
Mikael Silvennoinen, the Chair of Fortum's Board of Directors, will participate in the Nomination Board as an expert member without voting rights. The Nomination Board will forward its proposals to Fortum's Board of Directors, which will then present them to the Annual General Meeting for consideration and decision.
