Playground Games has confirmed that the PlayStation 5 version of Forza Horizon 6 will now launch on January 26, 2027. The racing title was originally scheduled for release sometime in 2026, but its debut has been postponed.
The revised release date means the PS5 version will launch concurrently with a new expansion for the game. Playground Games will also offer a Premium Edition for PS5, granting early access of up to five days before the official January 26th release.
Forza Horizon 6 initially released on Xbox and PC on May 15th. The upcoming expansion is also set to be available for these platforms in January. The developer has not provided specific reasons for the delay.
This shift in the release schedule impacts players eagerly anticipating the latest installment in the popular racing series on the PlayStation platform.
