Founder Sanjeev Bikhchandani to succeed Hitesh Oberoi as Info Edge CEO

Info Edge founder and vice chairman Sanjeev Bikhchandani will assume the roles of executive vice chairman, managing director, and group CEO on December 3, 2026. He succeeds Hitesh Oberoi, who concludes a 27-year career with the company to pursue interests in education, institution building, and philanthropy.

Oberoi will retain a connection to the organization by serving as a non-executive, non-independent director starting December 3. The leadership transition follows a period of financial growth for the firm, which reported its Q2 FY27 results alongside the executive announcement.

For the September quarter, Info Edge posted a consolidated net profit of ₹649.8 crore, an 87% increase from the same period last year. Revenue from operations reached ₹903.9 crore, marking a 12.2% year-over-year growth, bolstered by a significant rise in other income.
