Four Seasons Papagayo to Renovate Suites, Restaurant, and Event Spaces

Four Seasons Resort Peninsula Papagayo in Costa Rica is set to enhance its guest experience with a comprehensive renovation project scheduled for completion in late 2026. The upgrades aim to adapt to changing traveler needs, focusing on improvements to accommodations, dining, and gathering spaces.

The project's highlights include the addition of ten new one-bedroom suites and the redesign of Nemare, the resort's signature Latin American steakhouse. Additionally, the resort's meeting and event facilities will be refreshed to offer a more contemporary tropical ambiance.

"These enhancements allow us to further evolve the resort in ways that feel meaningful to our guests," said General Manager Brent Martin. He stated that the updates will influence how guests relax, dine, and come together at the resort.

The new one-bedroom Papagayo Suites will feature interiors inspired by the natural landscape, utilizing a palette of earthy tones and natural materials. The Miraman Presidential Suite will also be reimagined as a private indoor-outdoor space. The Nemare restaurant will adopt a more immersive design with natural materials and an expanded outdoor seating area.

The meeting and event spaces, totaling over 375 square meters, are being redesigned with a modern tropical aesthetic. The renovations incorporate biophilic design elements, drawing inspiration from Costa Rica's biodiversity, alongside natural textures and sculptural lighting.
