Foxconn's Kathy Yang Recognized Again on Asia's Most Powerful Women List
Hon Hai Technology Group (Foxconn)'s Kathy Yang has been named to Fortune's Most Powerful Women in Asia 2026 list for the second consecutive year. Yang leads the company's global operations and AI software business.

Kathy Yang, Executive Vice President of Global Operations at Hon Hai Technology Group (Foxconn), has been honored for the second year in a row by Fortune magazine in its Most Powerful Women Asia 2026 ranking. The recognition highlights Yang's significant role at the world's largest electronics manufacturer and AI server provider.
Yang oversees Foxconn's global campus operations and leads its AI software and infrastructure business. Her inclusion on the list, which features a strong contingent from the technology sector, underscores the industry's increasing prominence in the Asian economy. Technology companies constituted the largest group on this year's ranking, surpassing the banking sector.
"What's striking about this year's list is how the economic power landscape in Asia is evolving," said Charmian Choo, senior manager for the Asia ranking. "We see established leaders continuing to advance some of the region's largest companies, alongside a new generation rising through the ranks. The strong presence of technology is particularly noteworthy, reflecting its growing influence on the Asian economy and the increasingly central role of women in this transformation."
Yang emphasized the importance of adapting work methods and investing in reskilling to navigate the AI industrial revolution. "The real challenge lies not in deploying the technology, but in reshaping how we work, investing in reskilling, and supporting our people, both men and women, as they adapt to these changes," Yang stated. She is responsible for operations across over 240 Foxconn sites in 24 countries.
Earlier this year, Yang was also featured on Fortune's list of the Most Influential Women in Business 2026. Her work integrates Foxconn's global manufacturing scale, engineering capabilities, and operational expertise with software, data, IT infrastructure, and artificial intelligence.
