Fractal reports 139 percent profit growth in fiscal second quarter

Fractal, an AI and advanced analytics company, recorded a net profit of ₹79.2 crore for the second quarter of the 2026-27 fiscal year, representing a 139% increase from the previous year. Revenue from operations reached a record ₹956.5 crore, a 20% year-on-year increase.

The company’s performance was supported by strong demand in its healthcare and life sciences division, which grew 79%, and the banking and financial services sector, which rose 30%. Conversely, the telecom, media, and technology (TMT) segment saw an 18% decline in revenue compared to the same period last year.

The Americas remain the company’s primary market, accounting for 67.3% of total revenue. To improve operational efficiency and reduce administrative overhead, Fractal’s board has approved the winding up of its subsidiary, Analytics Vidhya Inc.

Fractal reported an adjusted EBITDA of ₹154.9 crore, up 30% from the prior year, noting that margin improvements reflect operating leverage despite ongoing investments in AI engineering talent. The company maintains a portfolio of analytics, consulting, and AI subscription platforms for global enterprise clients.
