Fraunhofer Venture Celebrates 25 Years with Startup Event
Fraunhofer Venture is hosting a startup event with a livestream on June 29, 2026, to mark its 25th anniversary. The event will feature pitches from 25 spin-off companies.
Fraunhofer Venture, the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft's unit for managing spin-offs and investments, is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a "Fraunhofer Investment Forum meets AHEAD Connect" event on June 29, 2026.
The event will showcase 25 high-tech pitches from selected Fraunhofer spin-offs and startup projects via a livestream. The initiative aims to connect promising technology teams with capital investors, strategic partners, and the broader innovation ecosystem.
"Successful spin-offs are built on trust, transparency, and partnership," said Thomas Doppelberger, Head of Fraunhofer Venture. "We continuously work to provide founders with the optimal conditions to move their research from concept to market."
The presentations cover a wide range of technologies, including life sciences and health, software and digitalization, production and robotics, and sustainable materials, originating from 15 different Fraunhofer Institutes. The audience will have the opportunity to participate in voting and engage directly with the presenting teams.
