Frederick Arts Council Announces Call for Artists for Winter Market
The Frederick Arts Council and YMCA Ausherman Arts Center are seeking artists and makers for the Winter Artist Market event, scheduled for November 27-28 in Frederick, Maryland.
The Frederick Arts Council (FAC), in partnership with the YMCA Ausherman Arts Center (YAAC), has issued a call for local artists and makers to apply as vendors for the upcoming Winter Artist Market. The market will take place from November 27–28 at the YMCA Ausherman Arts Center, located at 115 E. Church St., Frederick, MD 21701.
The annual market provides artists with an opportunity to showcase and sell their handmade artwork and creative goods to the Frederick community during the holiday season. Artists from various disciplines are encouraged to apply.
"Providing artists with opportunities to share and sell their work is an important part of supporting a thriving and sustainable creative community," said Louise Kennelly, executive director of the Frederick Arts Council.
Artists interested in participating as vendors must submit an application through Slideroom by October 28 at 11:59 p.m. Selected artists will have the chance to sell their handmade work during the two-day event.
