Freshworks to Join S&P SmallCap 600 Index

Freshworks Inc. (NASD: FRSH) has been selected to replace BioLife Solutions Inc. (NASD: BLFS) in the S&P SmallCap 600 index. The transition will take place before the market opens on Thursday, October 8.

BioLife Solutions is being removed from the index due to its acquisition by Repligen Corp. (NASD: RGEN), a constituent of the S&P MidCap 400. The S&P SmallCap 600 tracks the performance of small-capitalization U.S. equities.

Freshworks is a software company that provides cloud-based customer engagement and sales solutions. The company went public in December 2021.

S&P Dow Jones Indices regularly announces changes to its indices to ensure they reflect current market conditions and constituent criteria.
