Friedhelm Loh Group Donates 220,000 Euros to Charities
Friedhelm Loh Group employees and management raised a record 220,000 euros for charitable causes. Donations will support both regional and international organizations.
The Friedhelm Loh Group (FLG) announced its annual charitable donation drive in 2020 yielded a record 220,000 euros. The sum was raised through contributions from both employees and management.
The group stated the initiative reflects its commitment to social responsibility. Funds were allocated to organizations including Caritas-Werkstätten Westerwald-Rhein-Lahn, which supports employment for individuals with disabilities, and Oberlausitz Kinderhilfe for a children's hospital project in Bautzen. Additionally, the Debora Foundation in India received support for its work with disadvantaged castes and for emergency aid during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Prof. Friedhelm Loh, Chairman of the Friedhelm Loh Group, commended employees for their generosity and social engagement. He highlighted the group's dedication to assisting those in need, emphasizing the company's long-standing commitment to societal contribution.
FLG has a tradition of annual donations spanning several decades. Over the past 20 years, the group has collectively raised more than five million euros for charity. The Rittal Foundation, established by the group, has also supported numerous projects in education, culture, and science.
