Fristads has released a new Multinorm workwear collection, designated as the company’s first to include Environmental Product Declarations (EPD). This allows corporate clients to track carbon dioxide emissions and water consumption associated with the garments, supporting Scope 3 sustainability reporting.

The collection is engineered for high-durability industrial environments, with fabrics rated for 100,000 cycles in Martindale abrasion testing. The garments are validated for up to 100 industrial washes, with manufacturers incorporating aramid and rip-stop reinforcements to extend product life cycles.

Environmental safety measures include the exclusion of PFAS and the use of OEKO-TEX certified materials. The flame protection is inherent to the fibers used, preventing the need for chemical additives and ensuring the protective qualities remain intact throughout the garment's usage period.

By providing granular data on environmental impact, Fristads aims to address the industry demand for protective gear that meets both safety standards and corporate sustainability targets.
