FRITZ! launches Wi-Fi 7 mesh networking kits
FRITZ! has introduced its new Mesh Set 2700, a Wi-Fi 7-enabled networking system designed to provide coverage for larger households.

Networking hardware manufacturer FRITZ! GmbH has released the FRITZ!Mesh Set 2700, expanding its portfolio of home networking solutions. The kit is available in two-unit or three-unit configurations and utilizes the Wi-Fi 7 standard to improve connectivity across larger residential spaces.
Each repeater within the set is equipped with a 2.5-gigabit LAN port and supports both 2.4 and 5 GHz frequency bands, enabling theoretical wireless data rates of up to 6.5 Gbit/s. The system is designed to be compatible with standard wireless routers or can connect directly to fiber-optic modems. One unit acts as the mesh master, centralizing management features such as parental controls, guest networking, and VPN configuration.
Targeted at households with high demands for streaming and remote work, the new hardware is intended to provide a seamless mesh environment under a single network name. The two-pack retails for 329 euros, while the three-pack is priced at 449 euros.
