FRITZ! presents 5G, fiber, and WLAN Mesh innovations for home networks
FRITZ! showcased its latest home network innovations at the MWC 2026 in Barcelona. The company highlighted new products focusing on 5G connectivity, fiber optics, and Wi-Fi 7 technology.

German manufacturer FRITZ!, known for its broadband, 5G, and WLAN Mesh solutions, presented its latest innovations for enhanced home networking at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026 in Barcelona. The company's focus was on advancements in 5G, fiber optic technologies, and Wi-Fi 7.
Among the new products was the FRITZ!Box 6835 5G, which combines 5G technology with Wi-Fi 7 to offer flexible internet access for both fixed and mobile use. This device supports speeds of up to 2 Gbit/s via the mobile network and is designed for areas with limited broadband infrastructure. It can also function as a failover solution.
The company also introduced new models for fiber connections: the FRITZ!Box 5630 XGS and FRITZ!Box 5630. The FRITZ!Box 5630 XGS supports speeds of up to 10 Gbit/s, while the FRITZ!Box 5630 handles speeds up to 2.5 Gbit/s and 1 Gbit/s for various fiber standards. Both devices feature Wi-Fi 7 technology.
FRITZ! also unveiled the FRITZ!Repeater 6700 Pro, a repeater offering Quadband Wi-Fi 7, including the 6 GHz band, and a 10 Gbit/s LAN port. Live demonstrations of WLAN management and the company's commitment to ESG, security, and digital sovereignty were also part of the presentation.
