German manufacturer FRITZ! unveiled a range of new products aimed at enhancing home digital networking at the MWC 2026 trade fair in Barcelona. The presentation focused on innovations in 5G, fiber optic, and WLAN Mesh technologies.

A key new product is the FRITZ!Box 6835 5G, a Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) solution combining 5G mobile technology with Wi-Fi 7. This device offers flexibility for both stationary and mobile use, providing internet access via cellular networks at speeds up to 2 Gbit/s. It is designed for users in areas with limited traditional broadband availability and can be powered via USB-C, allowing operation with power banks. The router can also serve as a failsafe connection during outages of DSL, cable, or fiber services.

For fiber optic connections, FRITZ! introduced the new FRITZ!Box 5630 XGS and FRITZ!Box 5630 models. The FRITZ!Box 5630 XGS supports speeds up to 10 Gbit/s via the XGS-PON standard, while the FRITZ!Box 5630 handles speeds up to 2.5 Gbit/s (GPON) and 1 GBit/s (AON) directly on the fiber line. Both models feature Wi-Fi 7 for improved wireless performance and include multi-gigabit LAN ports.

Additionally, FRITZ! presented the FRITZ!Repeater 6700 Pro, a quadband Wi-Fi 7 repeater supporting the 6 GHz band and equipped with a 10 Gbit/s LAN port. The company also highlighted its commitment to ESG initiatives, security, and digital sovereignty.
