FRITZ!Box 7632 Achieves Gigabit Speeds on DSL with G.fast

FRITZ! GmbH has introduced the FRITZ!Box 7632, a new router designed to deliver high-speed internet access on DSL connections. The device leverages G.fast technology to achieve speeds of up to 1 Gbit/s, marking a significant upgrade for users with compatible infrastructure.

The FRITZ!Box 7632 is compatible with all DSL networks. When connected to lines supporting G.fast, it can reach speeds up to 1 Gbit/s, making it suitable for bandwidth-intensive applications such as 4K/8K streaming and online gaming. For existing DSL connections utilizing Supervectoring 35b, the router offers speeds of up to 300 Mbit/s.

Featuring Wi-Fi 7, the FRITZ!Box 7632 provides advanced wireless networking capabilities with theoretical speeds up to 3.5 Gbit/s. This ensures robust Wi-Fi performance for multiple connected devices. The router also includes a 2.5 Gigabit WAN/LAN port, three Gigabit LAN ports, and a USB 3.0 port for external storage or cellular modems.

Beyond connectivity, the FRITZ!Box 7632 serves as a central hub for smart home applications through its integrated DECT base station and the FRITZ!OS operating system. It offers comprehensive telephony features, smart home device control, and media server functionality. FRITZ!OS will receive continuous updates to enhance security and introduce new features. The FRITZ!Box 7632 is available with a recommended retail price of 269 euros.
