Frost & Sullivan Launches Program to Spotlight Overlooked High-Performing College Programs
Frost & Sullivan has launched its Top Performers program in the U.S. to identify and increase visibility for high-quality, yet less recognized, college programs.

Frost & Sullivan has announced the launch of its Top Performers program, designed to increase recognition and visibility for high-performing, but often overlooked, college programs in the United States.
The program offers independent market analysis and program-level insights, including data on graduate earnings, licensure outcomes, and career market indicators. Frost & Sullivan states there is a critical market need for unbiased, program-specific, location-based return on investment (ROI) analysis, which considers students' real motivations to focus on local institutions and the economic opportunities they provide.
Traditional national university rankings often do not align with the needs of most students, who compare institutions within driving distance and prioritize economic outcomes. The Top Performers program focuses on the performance of individual academic programs rather than analyzing the entire institution. This approach helps identify programs with significant potential that may have limited regional visibility.
"Many institutions have strong programs that are not visible beyond a 10-mile radius from campus," said Brian Cotton, Senior Vice President, Growth Advisory at Frost & Sullivan. "Our Top Performers program gives institutions an independent way to identify programs with real market potential and provide prospective students with clearer evidence of why those programs stand out."
The initiative aims to strengthen student recruitment and help students identify educational programs that are the best fit and have the most significant impact.
