FSP launches world's first 80 PLUS 230V Ruby certified ATX power supply
FSP (全汉) has released the world's first 850W ATX power supply unit to achieve 80 PLUS 230V Ruby certification. The new model is designed to meet the demands of edge computing and AI workstations.
FSP (全汉) officially launched the world's first ATX power supply unit certified under the 80 PLUS 230V Ruby standard on September 22, according to IT Home (IT之家).
The new 850-watt power supply features a standard AC to ATX output configuration. It is equipped with an 80mm industrial fan designed for high air pressure, intended to provide sufficient cooling. The company states the unit is capable of meeting the requirements for edge computing and AI workstations.
According to the official website of CLEAResult, the administrator of the 80 PLUS standards, FSP has only one "Ruby-grade" power supply listed. This model, FSP850-50AFB, is also noted as the first ATX industrial power supply to receive 80 Plus Titanium 230V EU Internal certification.
Competitor Seasonic previously obtained the first 80 PLUS Ruby certification in the 115V Internal category with its PRIME RX-1600. Seasonic has also achieved 80 PLUS Ruby certification for the 230V EU Internal category with its RX-1600, adhering to ATX 3.1 specifications.
