FuelCell Energy Faces Class Action Lawsuit Over Alleged Misleading Disclosures
Investors have filed a class action lawsuit against FuelCell Energy, Inc. alleging the company misled shareholders regarding its production capacity. The lead plaintiff deadline is November 10, 2026.

A securities class action lawsuit has been initiated against FuelCell Energy, Inc. in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. The litigation, Nguyen v. FuelCell Energy, Inc. et al., alleges that the company issued false or misleading statements concerning its business operations and manufacturing capacity between June 24 and September 1, 2026.
The complaint centers on allegations that FuelCell failed to disclose that its manufacturing capacity was insufficient to meet the production rates required under its agreement with Fit Energy. When the company reported a 29% year-over-year revenue decline and unexpected costs in early September 2026, shares fell by approximately 15.69%.
According to the lawsuit, the company failed to inform investors that these production delays were a persistent trend likely to negatively impact profitability. Shareholders who suffered losses during the specified class period may apply to serve as lead plaintiff in the litigation. The deadline for filing such applications is November 10, 2026.
