Fugro Secures Four Multi-Year Contracts for Subsea Inspection in Brazil
Fugro has been awarded four multi-year contracts by Petrobras for subsea infrastructure inspection and monitoring in Brazil, valued at approximately USD 340 million over four years.
Fugro has secured four significant multi-year contracts from Brazilian oil company Petrobras for the inspection and monitoring of critical subsea infrastructure in Brazil.
The contracts, expected to commence in the fourth quarter of 2025, will run for an initial four-year period with an option for a one-year extension. The combined value over the four years is approximately USD 340 million. Three of the contracts replace existing agreements, while the fourth represents new work.
The scope of work will involve four dedicated vessels, two operated by Fugro and two by partner companies. All four vessels will be equipped with Fugro’s advanced remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) for detailed inspections and monitoring activities.
These awards reinforce Fugro's long-standing relationship with Petrobras and support the company's strategy of building recurring revenue. The contracts will also expand Fugro's remote operations capabilities in Brazil, enabling ROV piloting from onshore control centers. This is expected to enhance operational efficiency and expedite decision-making in subsea operations.
