Fujifilm launches updated Instax Mini Evo 2 hybrid camera
Fujifilm has unveiled the Instax Mini Evo 2, featuring a larger sensor, a new touchscreen interface, and limited video recording capabilities.

Fujifilm has introduced the Instax Mini Evo 2, a successor to its hybrid instant camera that bridges the gap between digital photography and physical film printing. The updated model includes a larger 1/2.77-inch image sensor, offering a notable hardware upgrade over the 1/5-inch sensor found in the previous iteration.
Key changes include a 4.5-inch rear display with touchscreen controls, aimed at simplifying navigation and settings management. The device also introduces a video recording feature, allowing users to capture the moments leading up to a still photograph. These clips are saved as MP4 files directly to a microSD card.
Despite these technical additions, the device maintains its focus on the hybrid experience of capturing digital data while retaining the option to produce analog-style prints. This release serves as an iteration on Fujifilm’s strategy to appeal to consumers looking for integrated digital-analog photography tools.
