Fujitsu and Tomoshia Holdings launch core system refresh project
Tomoshia Holdings and Fujitsu have launched the "TO-One" core system refresh project. The initiative aims to standardize operations and improve efficiency in the food distribution supply chain.
Tomoshia Holdings and Fujitsu Limited have launched "TO-One (Tomoshia Operations as One)," a core system refresh project for Tomoshia Holdings. The project commenced in September 2026 and is scheduled to begin operations in April 2029.
The project will adopt Fujitsu Food Distribution Sync Service, a solution designed for the food wholesale industry as part of Fujitsu's "Supply Chain Data Services." This initiative integrates core systems, including sales management, for Tomoshia Holdings' subsidiaries ASAHI SHOKUHIN, Kanakan, and Marudai Horiuchi. The primary goals are to standardize operations across the entire Tomoshia Group, strengthen its management foundation, and establish a unified model for the food distribution supply chain.
The food wholesale industry faces challenges such as a declining population, labor shortages, and complex data management, leading to increased system maintenance costs and operational burdens. Fujitsu's Food Distribution Sync Service aims to enhance operational efficiency and reduce workload by providing a comprehensive set of standard functional patterns and AI capabilities tailored to the industry's specific characteristics.
Fujitsu and Tomoshia Holdings are set to showcase the Fujitsu Food Distribution Sync Service and participate in a seminar at "The 22nd Asia-Pacific Retailers Conference and Exhibition" in Tokyo, starting October 7, 2026. Tomoshia Holdings' medium-term management plan includes advancing digital transformation with a target of achieving 1 trillion yen in sales by fiscal year 2027.
