Fujitsu Deepens Partnership with Palantir for Enterprise AI
Fujitsu and Palantir are strengthening their strategic partnership to expand the deployment of AI solutions in enterprises. Fujitsu is notably investing in Palantir's FDE services globally.
IT services company Fujitsu has deepened its strategic partnership with US-based AI and data analytics firm Palantir. Under a new agreement, Fujitsu will serve as a Global FDE (Forward Deployed Engineering) Partner for Palantir, signifying a significant investment in deploying Palantir's Foundry and AIP platforms for enterprise clients in Japan and worldwide.
The partnership aims to address the growing demand for control over data and AI models. Palantir's platforms integrate AI models with governed data, offering controlled workflows and customer-managed deployment environments. Fujitsu contributes its own AI technologies, including the Takane language model, extensive industry expertise, and its Uvance offerings.
Tangible results have emerged from the collaboration. Fujitsu implemented a supply chain resilience solution for a Japanese manufacturer using Palantir's platform. This solution integrated data from over 3,000 suppliers and 18 factories, leading to cost savings exceeding $10 million annually, a doubling of operational productivity, and faster response times to disruptions.
Fujitsu is significantly scaling its FDE capabilities with Palantir, training its professionals to support customers in adopting Foundry and AIP, and developing custom AI applications within secure, production-grade environments. Both companies believe this expanded collaboration will help enterprises translate AI transformation into concrete and sustainable business outcomes.
