Fujitsu Develops UBIQUITOUSWARE Package to Accelerate Business Transformation
Fujitsu has developed UBIQUITOUSWARE, an Internet-of-Things package that senses and analyzes data about people and their environment to quickly provide actionable business insights. The technology utilizes sensors and proprietary analysis algorithms.

Tokyo – Fujitsu announced in May 2015 the development of FUJITSU IoT Solution UBIQUITOUSWARE. This Internet of Things (IoT) package senses the status of people, things, and their surrounding environments. By analyzing this data, businesses can quickly obtain valuable, actionable information tailored to their needs.
The UBIQUITOUSWARE package includes core modules that work with sensors, microcontrollers, and wireless communication to analyze the data. These core modules function alongside middleware that learns and analyzes sensor data in the cloud. Fujitsu's proprietary Human-Centric Engine algorithms convert the raw data into usable information, such as detecting falls or body posture.
The package is designed for easy integration into existing devices and systems. The first device featuring UBIQUITOUSWARE is the UBIQUITOUSWARE Head Mounted Display, with plans to release location badges and vital-sign sensing bands starting December 2015.
Fujitsu has begun field testing UBIQUITOUSWARE with customers and intends to deploy it within the Fujitsu Group. The company aims to expand its IoT business across various fields, supporting clients in developing new business lines through digital information. UBIQUITOUSWARE is part of Fujitsu's Human-Centric IoT initiative.
