Fundly.ai Raises $4 Million for Pharma Payments and Commerce Infrastructure

Indian B2B pharmaceutical distribution startup Fundly.ai announced on [Date of Release] that it has raised $4 million (approximately ₹38 crore) in a pre-Series A funding round. The round was co-led by existing investor Accel and Multiply, with participation from former RBL Bank executive director Rajeev Ahuja and several angel investors.

Fundly.ai focuses on building payment and settlement infrastructure that integrates with pharmaceutical distributors' ERP systems. The company plans to use the new funding to deepen its presence in existing markets before entering new cities. It will also expand its transaction and SaaS infrastructure beyond its current pilot in Pune and onboard more distributors onto its platform.

Founded in 2021, Fundly.ai aims to digitize India's fragmented pharmaceutical supply chain, which still relies heavily on traditional methods like phone calls, WhatsApp, and paper ledgers. Its B2B e-commerce platform, FundlyMart, connects retailers and distributors and embeds credit directly into the checkout process.

The startup claims its lending decisions are based on commerce and payment data generated through the platform, rather than solely on conventional financial statements. Fundly.ai has reportedly served over 4,100 retailers across more than 24 cities and plans to increase retailer and distributor density in current markets before geographical expansion.
