Furniture China and Maison Shanghai exhibitions draw record attendance

The Furniture China 2026 and Maison Shanghai 2026 exhibitions concluded successfully in Pudong, Shanghai, on September 11. Held from September 7-11, the events drew a total of 180,448 visitors, marking a 10.3% increase from the previous year. Over 3,200 brands and exhibitors participated across a 350,000 square meter exhibition space.

International attendance reached a record 37,394 visitors, an increase of 14.6%. The majority of international visitors hailed from Asia (53.82%) and Europe (21.26%). Domestic attendance reached 143,054.

The exhibitions showcased the entire furniture value chain, from international brands and original design to upholstery, outdoor furniture, office furniture, and materials and smart manufacturing. Maison Shanghai focused on design, lifestyle, and the future of living.

The events also facilitated networking through trade-matching services, forums, and awards. Organizers CNFA and IM Sinoexpo expressed gratitude for the successful edition. The next edition is scheduled for September 7-11, 2027, in Shanghai.
