Fury Gold Mines Releases Initial Mineral Resource Estimate for Sakami Gold Project in Quebec

Fury Gold Mines Limited (TSX: FURY, NYSE American: FURY) on December 8, 2025, announced an initial inferred mineral resource estimate (MRE) for the La Pointe Extension target, located on its wholly owned Sakami gold project in the Eeyou Istchee Territory of Northern Quebec.

The estimate includes 23.9 million tonnes of ore grading an average of 1.07 grams per tonne of gold, totaling 825,000 ounces. All these resources are projected to be within an open-pit range, up to 400 metres from the surface. The resource estimate remains open in all directions, with immediate potential for expansion to the northeast and southwest, as well as below the current open-pit depths.

An initial mineral exploration target for the La Pointe area estimates a range of 8.1 million to 14.7 million tonnes of ore, with gold grades between 1.57 and 1.11 grams per tonne. CEO Tim Clark described the result as a "portfolio milestone" and a "starting point for the project." He emphasized that these 825,000 ounces provide a solid base for growth, with significant expansion potential and paving the way for increased gold ounces in the Eeyou Istchee James Bay region.

The Sakami drilling program in summer 2025 expanded and confirmed the results from prior drilling, enabling the release of this first resource estimate. According to the company, the La Pointe Extension resource is open in all directions, with near-term opportunities for expansion. The project covers approximately 14,250 hectares and is located about 30 kilometers east of the Billy Diamond Highway.
