Fuse and Nevada National Security Sites Sign Five-Year Research Agreement

Fuse, a U.S. fusion energy company, has entered into a five-year Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) with the Nevada National Security Sites (NNSS). This new agreement extends Fuse's existing collaborations within the U.S. nuclear security sector, building upon prior agreements with Los Alamos and Sandia National Laboratories.

The CRADA aims to accelerate fusion innovation and enhance U.S. nuclear security capabilities. The collaboration with NNSS will focus on developing new technologies and applying them to address nuclear security challenges.

Pursuing advances in fusion energy is seen as critical for future energy needs and national security. Fuse's work with NNSS is expected to contribute to both the advancement of fusion technology and the strengthening of national security infrastructure.

Nevada National Security Sites are part of the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), responsible for maintaining the safety, security, and effectiveness of the U.S. nuclear weapons stockpile, among other duties.
