GAC Aion GX7 Receives Over 15,000 Orders in 18 Hours with Huawei Collaboration
GAC Aion's new GX7 electric vehicle secured over 15,318 pre-orders within 18 hours of its launch. The vehicle was developed in partnership with Huawei.
Chinese automaker GAC Aion announced that its new GX7 model garnered over 15,318 pre-orders within 18 hours of its launch. Deliveries of the vehicle have commenced. The GX7 is a product of GAC Aion's collaboration with technology firm Huawei, aimed at developing high-end intelligent vehicles.
The car integrates several of Huawei's intelligent automotive solutions, including the Qilin intelligent driving platform, HarmonyOS cockpit, and advanced driver-assistance systems. The GX7 is offered in multiple configurations, with introductory prices starting from 229,900 yuan (approximately $31,500 USD) during a limited-time promotion.
The GX7 features a spacious interior with a wheelbase of 3070 mm. Notable amenities include a 32-inch rear-seat entertainment screen and a 46-inch outdoor projector. The vehicle is also equipped with a 21-speaker sound system.
Designed for future driving capabilities, the vehicle incorporates an architecture targeting L3-level autonomous driving, supported by numerous sensors, including four LiDAR units. GAC Aion states the GX7 is among the first vehicles to feature Huawei's latest intelligent driving system.
