Chinese automaker GAC Group and Huawei's Qiankun unit have jointly launched a new intelligent new energy vehicle brand named Aistoland. The brand has unveiled two models, the Aistoland GT7 intelligent hunting coupe and the GX7 five-seat intelligent SUV. Currently, both vehicles feature an English "AISTALAND" wordmark on their exterior.
The Aistoland automotive brand has submitted an application for a graphic logo to China's trademark office. Official records indicate that the trademark application has entered the phase awaiting substantive examination. Details regarding the release date of the new graphic logo have not yet been disclosed.
This collaboration between GAC Group and Huawei aims to leverage GAC's automotive manufacturing expertise with Huawei's technological capabilities in areas such as intelligent vehicle systems and software. The venture targets the rapidly expanding electric vehicle market in China, a sector characterized by intense competition.
Previously, other automotive brands associated with Huawei's HarmonyOS ecosystem also initially used English wordmarks before introducing graphic emblems. The development and upcoming logo launch for Aistoland align with the broader industry shift towards more connected and intelligent vehicles.
