GAC Group, a Chinese automotive manufacturer, has announced its financial results for the first half of 2026, revealing a significant widening of its net loss. The company's net loss attributable to the parent company reached 4.47 billion yuan, marking a 75.98% increase compared to the same period in the previous year. During the same six-month period, total revenue rose by 9.38% to 46.12 billion yuan.
The report further indicated that the net loss after deducting non-recurring items was 5.21 billion yuan, a 76.86% increase year-over-year. The company's operating cash flow remained negative at -7.10 billion yuan, though the outflow narrowed by 34.03%.
GAC Group's primary business activities encompass the research and development, manufacturing, sales, and after-sales services of automobiles, as well as the production and sale of automotive components. The company operates across various segments, including passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, and new energy vehicles.
The basic earnings per share for the period were reported as -0.44 yuan. The asset-liability ratio stood at 54.98% at the end of the reporting period.
