GAC Group Reports Production and Sales Decline in September
GAC Group's vehicle production fell 24.01% and sales dropped 25.72% in September year-over-year. Significant declines were recorded for Honda and Toyota brands.
GAC Group reported a 24.01% decrease in vehicle production and a 25.72% decline in sales for September compared to the previous year. The company produced 136,150 vehicles and sold 128,634 units during the month.
The sharpest drops were seen in sales for GAC Honda, which fell 86.02% to 4,588 vehicles in September. GAC Toyota also experienced a significant decrease, with sales down 28.37% to 54,800 vehicles.
Additionally, GAC Trumpchi's sales decreased by 23.84% to 27,478 vehicles. Year-to-date, GAC Group's total production is down 6.03% and sales are down 3.58%.
In contrast, GAC Aion saw a substantial increase in sales, growing 45.32% to 39,667 vehicles in September. GAC Leading New Energy Commercial Vehicles also reported growth, with sales up 47.26% to 726 units.
