Chinese automaker GAC Group announced it will hold a celebration on July 16 to commemorate reaching the milestone of 30 million vehicles produced. The event will bring together the company's global user base to mark the significant achievement.
This landmark signifies GAC's growth as an automotive manufacturer since the rollout of its first vehicle. The company stated its development has evolved alongside the mobility habits of users worldwide.
In the first half of 2026, GAC reported substantial growth in international markets. Exports of GAC's own brands saw a 132% year-on-year increase, reaching 121,500 units. Growth was recorded across five key regions: the Americas, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, and Europe.
The company's international operations span 110 countries and regions, featuring 746 sales and service points and six international production facilities. GAC has also expanded its global footprint by offering localized services covering the entire value chain, from R&D to production and sales. The company reported strong sales performance, particularly in South America and Asia-Pacific markets, including a notable presence in the electric vehicle segment in Hong Kong.
