GAC Reaches 30 Million Customer Milestone
Automaker GAC Group celebrated selling its 30 millionth vehicle, with Thai action star Tony Jaa receiving one car. The company emphasized its commitment to quality and rigorous testing.
Chinese automaker GAC Group has surpassed the milestone of 30 million vehicles sold. The celebration occurred on July 16, when actor Tony Jaa received the company's 30 millionth vehicle, a GAC M8 PHEV destined for overseas markets.
The automaker stated that this customer volume reflects global trust in its products, built upon its manufacturing processes and quality. GAC claims to conduct vehicle testing under five extreme conditions, going beyond typical industry standards.
New vehicle development includes a minimum of 18 months of road testing, alongside laboratory evaluations. For international markets, GAC conducts additional testing tailored to local climate and road conditions, ranging from Middle Eastern deserts to Southeast Asian humidity.
GAC attributes its production quality to intelligent manufacturing facilities, such as the AION Intelligent Eco-Plant, described as the world's first 'lighthouse factory' for new energy vehicles. This facility employs digital quality monitoring and AI-driven robotic systems.
The company reported its battery technology, including the Magazine Battery, has been integrated into over 1.5 million vehicles with a strong safety record. GAC currently exports vehicles to 110 countries.
