GAC Reports Over 130% Export Growth in First Half of 2026

GAC Group has reported significant international sales growth in the first half of 2026. The company's overseas wholesale and retail sales to end consumers more than doubled compared to the same period last year. Total exports amounted to 121,483 vehicles, marking a 132% increase and nearing the entire previous year's export volume within six months.

In the Americas, Mexico saw strong performance with GAC's AION ES and AION UT models ranking in the top ten best-selling battery electric new energy vehicles. Bolivia has maintained GAC as the best-selling Chinese passenger car brand for multiple consecutive months. Brazil experienced a 1,129% month-over-month sales increase in June and a 24% year-over-year rise. GAC is now among the top five electric vehicle brands in Uruguay.

Across the Asia-Pacific region, GAC secured the leading position in electric passenger car sales in Hong Kong in April, holding over an 11% market share from January to May. Singapore saw a 77% month-over-month and 30% year-over-year sales increase in June. GAC ranks as the second-largest battery electric vehicle manufacturer in Singapore and maintains market leadership in the electric taxi segment in Thailand.

In the Middle East and Africa, the company reported substantial growth in markets such as Côte d'Ivoire and Ethiopia. In Lebanon, the GAC EMZOOM model led sales in the B-segment SUV category. Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates all achieved triple-digit sales growth.
