GAC Strengthens European Presence at Paris Motor Show 2026
GAC unveiled a new European brand identity and service concept at the Paris Motor Show 2026, signaling a strategic push for localization in R&D, production, and sales across the continent.

Chinese automaker GAC outlined its strategy to deepen its presence in Europe at the Paris Motor Show 2026 on October 12. The company officially launched its new brand proposition for Europe, "THE ENGINEERS," and debuted the AION UT Cross vehicle. The event marked a significant step in GAC's localized, full-chain approach to the European market.
GAC emphasized its commitment to localization across research and development, production, sales, and energy solutions in Europe. The company's Milan design center supports local design efforts, and a European R&D center is slated to open in 2027, employing over 100 local engineers. GAC is already producing AION V and AION UT models in Europe, both of which have achieved five-star safety ratings from Euro NCAP.
Leveraging a spare parts distribution center in Rotterdam, GAC is building an efficient logistics network. Its sales and service network spans 30 European countries, with plans to reach over 180 sales points by year-end. The company is also developing green energy solutions aligned with European ESG requirements to promote sustainable development.
The "THE ENGINEERS" brand reflects GAC's dedication to high European quality standards and engineering expertise. Drawing on over two decades of international partnerships, including collaborations with Toyota and Honda, GAC is developing proprietary technologies like ADiMOTION Power and ADiGO Intelligence. The company plans to continue its technology-driven strategy and integrate further into European industrial and green energy ecosystems.
Additionally, GAC introduced its global service brand, GAC CARE+, in Europe during the show, offering 24/7 customer support and services tailored for the European market.
