GAC Supplies Official Service Vehicles for Xinhua's World Cup Coverage in Mexico

Automaker GAC has delivered several vehicles to China's national news agency, Xinhua. The vehicles will serve as official service transport for Xinhua reporters covering the football World Cup in Mexico.

Mexico City, July 16, 2026 – GAC has supplied its AION UT and GS7 models to the Xinhua News Agency. These vehicles will support media coverage during the tournament, which is being held across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. GAC highlights that the vehicles offer a reliable and spacious transport solution for journalists navigating between stadiums, press centers, and team hotels.

Xinhua will also utilize GAC's vehicles as mobile editing suites. The quiet and comfortable interiors allow reporters to process footage and prepare interviews while in transit. The AION UT's spacious cabin can accommodate live broadcast equipment, while the GS7 provides a serene environment amidst the demands of high-pressure reporting.
