GAC Toyota is recalling more than 120,000 vehicles in China due to multiple technical flaws identified in its Bozhi 3X and 7 electric vehicle lines. The manufacturer has filed recall plans with the State Administration for Market Regulation, covering units produced between early 2025 and mid-2026.

The largest recall involves 100,175 units of the Bozhi 3X model, where insufficient axial force in the front suspension stabilizer bar nuts could lead to loosening and potential component detachment. This issue poses a risk to vehicle stability during operation.

Separately, the Bozhi 7 model faces two software-related recalls. A total of 18,130 units are being recalled due to a software flaw in the "comfort parking" function that may lead to extended braking distances. Additionally, 2,955 units are subject to a recall regarding the front-facing camera system, where a software error during OTA updates could cause unexpected steering movements when cruise control is active.

GAC Toyota has stated that all necessary repairs and software updates will be provided to affected owners free of charge.
