Liuyingfang CEO Liang Qiwei has unveiled details regarding the difficulty settings and mechanics for the upcoming game "Shadows: Zero". The game is set to offer players four distinct difficulty levels, with the challenges increasing progressively.

The easiest setting, "Enlistee", is designed for players with no prior experience in action games. It allows them to enjoy the narrative and map exploration while still experiencing the combat. Enemies are programmed with AI and animations to create spectacular martial arts-style combat sequences, complete with satisfying finishing moves.

The most challenging mode, "Sixty-Six Days", is unlocked only on the second playthrough. This mode features automatic saving and no ability to undo mistakes, mirroring the theme of limited time. Failure to complete objectives within the allotted days leads to a specific ending animation and prompts the player to restart.

Notably, the highest difficulty setting is not tied to achievements. All of the game's trophies, including the platinum trophy, can be earned even on the easiest difficulty levels, making it possible to achieve platinum on the first playthrough.
