The G8 SE utilizes a patented, movable USB-C port for a direct wired connection, which aims to provide lower latency compared to wireless options. The device incorporates Hall effect sensors for its analog sticks and linear triggers, promising enhanced precision and durability. It also includes programmable buttons and an integrated vibration motor.
Additional features include a rapid-fire function with a 20Hz rate and the ability to switch trigger modes via software. The controller weighs approximately 190 grams and comes with detachable silicone grip pads. It also features conductive rubber ABXY buttons and light-touch shoulder buttons.
