GaNrich Expands Gallium Nitride Semiconductor Portfolio

GaNrich Semiconductor Corporation has announced an expansion of its gallium nitride (GaN) power device portfolio, now covering a voltage spectrum from 40V to 1200V. By utilizing both GaN-on-Si and GaN-on-Sapphire platforms, the company is positioning its hardware for high-demand applications such as AI data centers, power backup systems, and electric vehicle onboard chargers.

As power topologies evolve, GaN technology is increasingly viewed as a necessary step up from traditional silicon-based components. GaNrich has addressed technical barriers to entry by designing its components to act as pin-to-pin replacements for existing silicon technology. This approach allows manufacturers to integrate high-efficiency GaN devices without requiring a full redesign of their electrical circuits.

Strategically, GaNrich is positioning itself as an alternative supplier for companies seeking to diversify their supply chain away from China-centric manufacturing. By leveraging Taiwan-based production resources and international partnerships, the company aims to secure a footprint in North American and European markets. Initial units have already undergone validation by global industrial and automotive clients.
