Ganter introduces new quick-fix lifting and securing points
Ganter Norm has launched new self-locking threaded lifting bolts for lifting, securing, and transport tasks. These bolts offer a faster and more practical alternative to conventional fastening methods.

Ganter Norm has introduced new self-locking threaded lifting bolts, designed for lifting, securing, and transport applications. These new products, designated GN 1133 and GN 1135, offer a quick and convenient solution for threaded holes.
Compared to traditional eye bolts, lifting eyes, and welded loops, the new lifting bolts allow for the creation and removal of attachment points with a single hand movement. The user presses an aluminum spring button, retracting four spring-loaded thread elements within the bolt. This action allows the bolt to be inserted into a threaded hole, and upon release of the button, the elements engage the thread. Ganter states this design can handle significantly higher axial loads than pin bolts with ball locking.
The GN 1135 model features an additionally rotatable shackle, enabling lifting devices such as chains or straps to move in any direction without the bolt disengaging from its supporting thread. The GN 1133 also includes a swivel shackle allowing 180-degree rotation. All versions are equipped with a retaining plate to prevent accidental actuation of the spring button.
The threaded lifting bolts are available in steel and stainless steel, with thread sizes ranging from M8 to M20 and lengths from 12 to 22 millimeters. Otto Ganter GmbH & Co. KG has been developing and producing standardized elements for industry since 1894.
