Garanti BBVA Migrates Guaranteed Loan Applications to Digital Channels
Garanti BBVA has moved its KGF- and İGE-guaranteed loan application processes to digital channels. Businesses can now apply via mobile and internet banking without visiting a branch.

Garanti BBVA has shifted the application process for loans guaranteed by the Credit Guarantee Fund (KGF) and Export Development Inc. (İGE) to its digital platforms. This change allows small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and other businesses to complete loan applications without needing to visit a physical branch.
The new digital service enables companies to apply for these guaranteed loans through Garanti BBVA's mobile application and internet banking. Customers can select the appropriate guarantee scheme, submit their request digitally, and monitor all stages of the process in real-time.
Key stages include the bank's initial evaluation, branch processing, checks by KGF or İGE, loan disbursement, and final guarantee approval. The system is integrated with the Revenue Administration (GİB), facilitating secure sharing of financial data like balance sheets and income statements to expedite the assessment.
Customers receive updates via SMS, email, and mobile notifications throughout the process. Garanti BBVA stated this move aligns with its focus on digital banking and business financing, aiming to provide faster, easier, and more transparent access to capital for businesses to support their growth.
