Garo Introduces New 3-Phase Marina Power Posts
Garo has launched new Koster series marina power posts featuring 16A IEC sockets. These products are designed to provide reliable high-output shore power connections for various types of vessels in marinas.
Garo, an electrical installation product manufacturer, has introduced new Marinpost marina power posts to its Koster series. These three-phase posts are specifically designed for marina needs, offering efficient and reliable power connections for both large yachts and smaller fishing boats.
The new models, designated GMS E3 3F and GMS M3 3F, are equipped with two IEC216-type and one IEC416-type 16A three-phase sockets. Another variant, GMS 3F and GMS 3FM, provides two IEC416-type 16A sockets. The posts are available with or without electricity meters, with the meters being MID approved.
Constructed with aluminum housing and rated IPX6 for protection, these posts are built to withstand harsh marine environments. The inclusion of RCBOs for residual current protection and a 6kA short-circuit current rating ensures safety and operational reliability.
Garo aims to address the growing energy demands within the maritime sector. These new power posts offer standardized connections, simplifying the process of connecting vessels to the marina's power grid safely and efficiently.
